Simple Past Tense


Simple Past Tense is used for actions which happened at a time in the past.
We use the simple past tense for actions which happened in the past at a given time like yesterday, last week, or just now.
These are some examples:
We walked to the library just now.
They went to the zoo last Sunday.
I cried yesterday.
